Goldwater Institute
The Goldwater Institute was founded in 1988 by a small group of entrepreneurial Arizonans with the blessing of Sen. Barry Goldwater. Like our namesake, the Goldwater Institute board and staff share a belief in the innate dignity of individual human beings, that America is a nation that grew great through the initiative and ambition of regular men and women, and, that while the legitimate functions of government are conducive to freedom, unrestrained government has proved to be a chief instrument in history for thwarting individual liberty. Through research and education, the Goldwater Institute works to broaden the parameters of policy discussions to allow consideration of policies consistent with the founding principles of free societies. With the legislature introducing thousands of new bills every year, it's nearly impossible for the average person to know when or where his liberties are threatened, much less do anything about it. The Goldwater Institute works on behalf of Arizonans to keep watch on government and to expand school choice, restore economic liberty, protect private property, and affirm Arizona's independence against unconstitutional federal encroachments.

Institute for Justice Arizona Chapter

The Institute is a non-profit public interest law firm that litigates in the areas of private property rights, school choice, economic liberty, and First Amendment freedoms. They represent individuals and owners of small businesses who want to sue the government when its laws violate their constitutional rights. IJ’s Arizona staff of talented attorneys, along with a network of volunteer lawyers and like-minded policy organizations, will work toward the goal of protecting the legacy of liberty in the Grand Canyon State.

Len Munsil's Blog
Len Munsil, a third-generation Arizonan, has been a principled conservative leader in Arizona for more than 20 years. He has an accomplished record as a public policy expert, organizational entrepreneur, lawyer, journalist, and author. In 2006 he won the Republican primary for Governor of Arizona, entering the race late and coming from far behind to upset the most famous name in Arizona political history – Goldwater – while receiving more than 51 percent of the vote in a four-way primary. In the general election he received more than half a million votes but lost to incumbent Janet Napolitano. In 2007 he founded and serves as Chairman of a new Arizona political action committee – Principled Reaganesque Outcomes, known as PRO-PAC, to help elect Reagan Republicans to Arizona offices.

No Bad Judges

PRO-PAC: Principled Reaganesque Outcomes Political Action Committee
Ronald Reagan created the sweeping and lasting political revolution that bears his name by doing one very profound thing: he made the Founding Fathers’ vision of a people-led government understandable in a modern and complex world. Often today we reduce those principles down to slogans, but to be Reaganesque, we must understand that any responsibility government removes from the individual weakens not only the individual’s liberty, but also the effectiveness of the state. We must believe again in the power of our ideas. We must be willing to explain and articulate them. And we must have Reagan’s optimism and faith that a fully informed American electorate will choose candidates who represent family, faith and freedom.

Sonoran Alliance
Arizona’s premier and top rated conservative political blog! It’s an alliance of political insiders and activists dedicated to reporting and writing on Arizona’s political news while promoting conservative thought and principles in the Sonoran Southwest. Several of the contributing writers work in federal, state, county and city government while others have worked on high-profile political campaigns or for non-profit organizations. Because of the key positions in which they serve, many write under pseudonyms. However, others are not afraid to come “out-of-the-closet” when voicing their political opinions.

Sons of the American Revolution
The purposes of the Sons of the American Revolution are patriotic, historical and educational. This includes: perpetuating the memory of Revolutionary War Patriots; promoting fellowship among their descendants; inspiring the community with a reverence for the principles of government founded by our forefathers; encouraging historical research of the American Revolution; preserving the records of Revolutionary War patriots; marking the locations of the Revolution events and its soldiers; celebrating anniversaries of the Revolution; fostering true patriotism; maintaining and extending institutions of American freedom; carrying out the purpose of the Preamble of the Constitution; following the injunctions of Washington's farewell address to the American people.
